Write down your “why”. If your why doesn't make you cry, it’s not your why. Your why should be big, changes the outlook of your home, family, etc. Think about your passion, think about your opportunities, that’s how you find your purpose.

Intelligence is attractive. Believe in a good education (whatever that means to you, doesn’t necessarily mean graduate school). Learn to speak in another language. Know what’s going on in the world.

What do you really want?

Why do you want it? What is your purpose?

What do you need to do to get there?

Make goals positive and motivating. Have them be possible. Write them down. Base goals on performance, not the outcome.

Long term vision:

Where do you want to be in __ years?

  • Personal Life?
  • Professional Life?

Breakdown by year:

  • 2021
  • 2022
  • 2023
  • 2024
  • 2025

Create a list of tasks that make you uncomfortable (7 tasks). Complete one every day this week.

Example: Exercise when you don’t feel like it or get the mugs out of your room.

Find a project you’re passionate about.

Push yourself.

Focus on things that matter. By using the Eisenhower matrix, it’s easy to see what’s important. If it’s not “important and urgent” or just “important”, then don’t bother with it.

Instill discipline.

Get stuff done.

Know where you’d like to be in life.
