Life without Social Media p.3
An update on life social media less. My screen time for today was an hour and 12 minutes, which is great for me since my daily average is over 3 hours. I figured out that in the screen time settings, you can add a limit to specific apps, I put one on Snapchat and used a password to restrict it. The key is to have someone else enter a password, since then you actually can’t access the app even if you wanted to.
I also highly recommend doing the following in your days:
- Reading a book
- Going outside
- Some form of movement
- Cooking or baking (if time permits)
I am currently reading Grit by Angela Duckworth. I like the book so far as it brings out some good points. If you’re interested I highly recommend her Ted Talk video.
