“All business is two things: Innovation & Marketing.” — Peter Drucker

Tips for success:

  1. Know your ideal client. Understand where they’re coming from and how they view your company, etc.
  2. Create an irresistible offer. The offer is too good to pass.
  3. Work, give, save, spend, monthly budget.
  4. Situations are never permanent. If something goes wrong, remember, crisis leads to breakthroughs.

“If you fail to plan, you plan to fail” — Dave Ramsey

Tony Robbins shares 5 steps to creating your business profile.

  1. Understand the true power of identity.
  2. Identify and articulate your competitive advantage.
  3. Practice communicating congruently.
  4. Live it!
  5. Market it!

Get involved in any way possible. One could babysit, go to social events, try a new activity, play sports, or get a job and work.

Things to do:

  • Have a clean room (bed),
  • Dishes
  • Laundry
  • Gain responsibility (feeding a pet)
  • Taking out the trash
  • Yard work (raking leaves, mowing the lawn)
  • Clean the house/kitchen, vacuum/sweep, clean windows, clean bathrooms.

Remember to have a budget!

“No work, no pay” — Dave Ramsey

Tips:

  • Patience is key. It’s recommended to have 40% of your income going into savings.
  • When it’s gone, it’s gone. Money is finite. Spend it wisely. Never purchase on impulse. If there’s something you want, think about the purchase beforehand. Sleep it through.
  • Spenders vs. Savers. Identify yourself. It’s not bad being a spender and it’s not bad being a saver. It’s just important to know which one you are.
  • Bargaining. Learning how to deal.
  • To help visualize you could have 3 envelopes. One for saving, spending, and give.

“Concentration produces wealth. Diversification protects wealth.” — James Clear

Elon Musk was once asked: What words of encouragement would you give an entrepreneur? He replied, “If you need words of encouragement, don’t become an entrepreneur.”

“It’s less about what you want, and more about what you’re willing to give up.” — Mark Manson

“If you don’t succeed at first, don’t come home.” — Unknown

“Work until you no longer have to introduce yourself.” — Unknown

“Be more, do more, create more, share more.” — Tony Robbins

“Secret to wealth: Add more value.” — Tony Robbins

“Begin with the end in mind.” — Unknown

“The greatest risk is the risk of riskless living.” — Unknown

“Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” — Francis of Assisi

Reflection:

  • What are you committed to?
  • What are you prioritizing?

In regards to your job/company/business:

  • What’s great?
  • What’s missing?
  • What’s preventing that? (belief, behavior, emotions?)
