You’ve probably seen a ton of articles already on how one can improve their life with simple, quick, and easy habits. Other than making your bed, keeping your environment clean, drinking water, taking cold showers, there’s a lot of habits we don’t prioritize properly.
- Track your sleep. Sleeping is crucial for everyone. It’s important to get enough sleep. Sometimes we overlook how much sleep we truly get. Just because one’s lying down in bed for 8 hours, does not mean they got 8 hours of sleep.
- Get sunlight. Pretty self-explanatory, go outside and enjoy the sun. Many have a Vitamin D deficiency, an easy fix would be to go out more, if there’s not a lot of sun where you live, perhaps you should consider supplements.
- Read. When Bill Gates and Warren Buffett were asked what superpower they wanted, Bill Gates replied, “Being able to read quickly” and Warren Buffett followed, “I have probably wasted 10 years reading slowly”.
- Journal. This doesn’t have to take much of your time. Try writing 3 things you would like to achieve in your personal life as well as your professional life.
- Meditation. Meditate on a question that will help move life forward. This is different for everyone as the question you might be thinking about is personalized to suit your life.
Every night before bed, reflect on your day (in as much detail as possible) examples: meetings, conversations, and then 3 things you’re grateful for. For this reflection, you can either talk it out with a loved one or you can journal it.
