If you’d like to figure out how you can improve your business, even if it’s already extremely successful, here are some questions that can guide you into a reflection on your strengths, weaknesses, and how you can continue to succeed.
Quick Questions:
- Take responsibility for your business. Is it doing good or doing bad? (Be honest)
- If it’s good, how can you continue to improve?
- If it’s bad, what happened? How can you get it back on track?
- What positive things happened with your business? What did you believe to get there? What did you do to get there?
- What opportunities did you miss on? What happened that caused that?
- What results do you want in 2021? Write a couple of them down, some reachable and others a tad over, to allow yourself to be pushed forward.
- What are your three most important goals? Identify them, how you can reach them, daily actions you need to take in order to achieve them.
- Transform yourself into the person that would get the goal. Who do you need to be to achieve that goal? Is it a simple issue? Can you improve upon your habits to fix them?
- What do you have to stop doing? What do you have to continue? What do you need to start doing?
- Double down your routine during the weekend (and holidays). It’s a chance to get ahead of others when they’re relaxing.
*Disclaimer, this is only to serve as motivation. Do not compare yourself to others. Everyone else has goals for themselves. A good way to look at this is to be better than the person you were yesterday.
6. 1–5 pm is when people start being unproductive (this is the time to get ahead)

Tips:
- Set goals (both long term and short term)
- Plan ahead (try using a monthly calendar for an overview or whatever works for you)
- Track your progress (Use the questions above to analyze and reflect on your achievements and lost opportunities)
- Keep yourself motivated. You can do this with inspirational quotes on sticky notes in front of you, perhaps a certain background on your phone, anything that gets you up and going.
- Reward yourself
- Surround yourself with motivational and successful people. Learn from them.
