Weather Connection

This could just be from my personal experience, but I feel like the weather can reflect what kind of day I’m having. For example, when it’s raining outside, I feel more tired and less motivated compared to when it’s bright and sunny. There are some scientific studies that state there’s Seasonal Affective Disorder, nicknamed winter depression. I feel like that makes plenty of sense since it’s probably depressing not seeing the sun and usually, during Winter there are dark morning hours, and waking up in darkness is not setting a good mood for the rest of the day. I wonder how much of a connection there is between weather and our feelings or if it’s all just a mental feeling. For instance, David Goggins mentioned that someone asked him if he’d like to run with them but when they looked at the weather they told him (David Goggins) “oh maybe tomorrow” yet David Goggins said that the weather was not going to determine what his life was going to look like, he was going to run and he did. I feel like that also should contribute to our feelings based on the weather. It’s nice to have good weather and the sun out but I feel like we shouldn’t be so easily discouraged when we notice the dark clouds coming our way.
